Stuff White People Like

So here's what happened...

Ok, so there hasn't been any new stuff for a little while, and here's why. I was on vacation in Jersey for a week with my brothers (no, not 'Joisey', the real one, in the English Channel) visiting our uncles and cousins for the first time. That was great. I was amazed at how well we all got along. It was a weird but welcoming experience of suddenly finding myself among 'my kind of people'. All my dad's family live over there so I've never had the experience of a large extended family. I've also never drunk so much in my life. So that was good. On the downside though, just before I left, I inadvertantly wiped out about a year's worth of data from my hard drive. That's bad. Along with tons of other stuff, I lost all my hi-res pages from Much book 2. I still have the lo-res versions floating around the inter-web, so I can re-scan and reconstruct the pages. It will seriously set me back however. I'm over the worst of the shock, but it still sucks to lose all that work. Oh well...
