No Much this week...

Sorry guys, I'm just too busy this week. On top of the board I have to hand in on Monday, I'm doing a storyboard test for a major feature animation studio! I'm really excited about it, and I've been busting my butt to get it finished. I posted an early version of it here: http://www.flightcomics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11551
Feel free to check it out and tell me what you think.

Good luck, Steve! The boards look clear and the story was easy to follow at a glance.

Cheers,
Tom

Nice drawings there, mr. B-P...I am not a member of that forum, so I could not post...
what i noticed sc. 4 to sc. 5 jarring as the reptile is looking screen left in 4 and screen right in 5...sc.s 5 to 6 is a jump cut - I thought it was still the same sc...
...probably hard to read that he gets a bump on his head in sc. 6...it's tiny and way at the top of the frame...those are the things that immediately caught my eye...looks pretty good though, hopefully you will be able to have a hand in completely bastardizing a Dr.Seuss character in the near future!!

Crap! And I just mailed it this afternoon. I had to get it sent off or I'd never be able to get back to my NerdCorps board.

What I should have done with scene 6 is cut to a midshot of the rhino coming in and bumping his head, then truck out when he notices his coat caught in the door.

Well, guess I'm not moving to New York.

Thanks Kelly! Yeah, I'm really biting my nails over the test. I'm trying to be ok with whatever happens, but honestly, I want to get into features pretty badly. I'm so sick of TV.

I'll maybe post the final boards later. Maybe after I hear back from Blue Sky.
