Anyone have an idea what movie that first one is from? My best guess is maybe E.T., but I'm not at all sure. I think the others are pretty self-explanatory.

Could be that Where The Wild Things Are movie... I have no idea...
Hey, Steve. I think that first one is the artist's take on a popular Russian kid's book character called, "Cheburashka". You'll see him paired up with a crocodile named "Gena". And they're always facing off against an old lady named "Shaporlyaz". I recall seeing some parodic movie posters of the three of 'em in the style of "the matrix" and "Star wars" and so on.

The artwork is dated 2003, so no. I did think of that though.
An ewok?

Hey Tom!
I think you're right. I think there's a couple of other posters in the set which feature a crocodile.
Mystery solved!
